After playing through all of the most popular acoustic amps, I stumbled upon the Genzler line of amps at my local guitar shop.
These amps are incredible! I purchased the Acoustic Array Mini because it makes my beautiful Martin OM sound just like my beautiful Martin OM.
The sound is clear and precise, the box is powerful enough for a small room, and it absolutely blows away the competition. To top things off, when I had questions about the functionality of the amp I e-mailed the company, and heard back from Jeff Genzler, himself, with advice!

I was looking for an acoustic amp that could also do vocals for smaller solo gigs. I was drawn to the mini initially because I’m a bass player and I own a Magellan 350 with 10 and 12 bass array cabs.
At the time, I had a similar sized amp from a very well regarded acoustic amp/pickup manufacturer (rhymes with “squish-pan”). The Genzler mini blew it away. The depth of the eq, the contour, the effects – all at least two steps up from the 60-watt loudbox.
Granted, it costs more, but this is not a matter of marginal improvement. I mostly play a D-28 with a simple K&K passive pickup under the bridge – the mini can take my exact tone and make it (almost) too loud for a small room show, the eq/contour can tame the lows and make the guitar sound similar to smaller/tighter acoustics. With my art/Lutherie parlor guitar – it can match the tone or fill out the lows and make it sound huge.
Add to that the separate control on vocals for reverb and this amp is truly all I need. If there is a room this amp can’t fill, then there should be a decent pa anyway – and that’s where the di out comes in…..

I am amazed by this amp. Without any separate pedals it makes each of my acoustic guitars sound great. Three guitars are equipped with K&K Pure Mini pickups, one has an LR Baggs Lyric, and one has an older Fishman under saddle pickup. They all sound great through this amp. The onboard reverb is very good. I can’t comment on the onboard chorus as I don’t use chorus. The amp can get quite loud. I am very happy with this amp.
