Scott Bravo

Scott Bravo is an instrumental, acoustic guitarist from NYC. For the past 15 years he has been touring the country playing in every and any venue he could get his gear into.

From theatres, to rock clubs to coffeehouses if there is a place to plug in, Scott has been there. Crafting a style uniquely his own called “Sloth style” he finesses the guitar using only one finger and a pick.

He relies heavily on melodies and looped solos over chord progressions, sometimes accompanied by a drum machine.

Scott is a unique and original voice in the “fingerstyle” world and uses Genzler amplification to help convey his message to the ears of the world.

“Why I love my Genzler Acoustic Array Pro?  Simply because my guitar sounds the same coming out as it does going in.  Which, to me, is the most important thing.

It comes with a phase button, a contour dial that tightens or loosens the sound and a 4 band EQ. I LOVE that it comes with a dial for the 200-5khz range as that frequency range, for me, tends to be the peskiest.

This amp provides a deep, rich tone and having a master volume dial helps bring out one of this amps best attributes, the volume.  

It IS loud. And loud without losing sound quality. It’s plenty loud to run without adding a mic in most situations I find myself in. And it’s light! It’s no problem carrying this thing up and down stairs or for a block or two through NYC.

I’ve played many, many amps over the 20 years I’ve been doing this and it was all a search that lead me to this amp.
