Gerry Fisher

Growing up in Northeast Oklahoma, Gerry started playing Bass at age 12 after hearing The Who’s “Live at Leads” album and being blown away by John Entwistle’s aggressive style. Now living in the Dallas Metroplex, Gerry is currently working with several bands to include The Maylee Thomas Band, Love Handle, FM 409, and Griff Hamlin and the Single Barrel Blues Band. He also performs freelance work and sub gigs when available.

Gerry has shared the stage and opened for major acts such as Little Big Town, Joe Bonamassa, Sonny Landreth, Ted Nugent, Hank Williams Jr, Eric Gales, Pat Travers, Greg Koch, Andy Timmons, Ian Moore, Monte Montgomery, Foghat, David Grisham, and Phil Keaggy to name a few.

“My current Genzler “go to” rig is the Magellan 800 head, along with the Bass Array 410-3 and Bass Array 210-3 cabs. I love how easy it is to dial in a great tone right out of the box, and that this head allows for 2.7ohm operation. This amp sounds amazing set just flat, and can take your tone in so many directions with just some slight tweaking of the EQ and Contour sections. Also the Bass Array cabs are second to none. The Line Array of 3” drivers are a game changer!” – Gerry Fisher
